The Ondo State Chairman of the Screening Committee of All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Tijhani Tumusa, has revealed that 11 governorship aspirants have been cleared to participate in the Ondo State Governorship Primary Election.
Tumusa, who revealed that only one aspirant was disqualified refused to give the reason for the disqualification.
He made this revelation while presenting the report of the exercise to the National Secretary of the party’s Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CEONCPC) at the party National Secretariat.
Among those that have been given the nod to contest for the governorship ticket at the primary election are the incumbent Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Joseph Iji, Odimayo Okunjimi, Olayide Adelami, Isaac Kekemeke, Olusola Oke and Olayide Adelami.
The governorship election will hold on October 10, 2020.
