Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has formally declared his intention to contest the 2023 Presidential Election under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Fayemi made the declaration today at the Hilton Hotel, Abuja, in the company of his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, APC Governorship aspirant, Biodun Oyebanji, members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, traditional rulers and well-wishers.
The outgoing governor in Ekiti State promised to give priority to youth empowerment, retool the Armed Forces and security agencies, decentralise the government to be closer to the people and adhere strictly to the highest standards of decorum and decency.
