Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has sought for greater synergy between the state and federal security agencies, saying that the working together of all security agencies would guarantee a better security in the country.
Makinde also requested collaboration between the states and the Nigerian Immigration Service for proper documentation of foreign nationals working in Oyo state.
These were the two requests the governor placed before President Muhammadu Buhari during a meeting he had with him today to brief him on the security of Oyo State.
Makinde said, “This afternoon, I met with His Excellency, President Buhari to brief him on the security situation in Oyo State and seek collaborations required for some of our intended security plans to work effectively”.
President Buhari promised to look into these requests.
