Following the death of a member representing Ibadan North federal constituency, Honourable Musiliudeen Olaide Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban, the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has ordered that all flags across the state be flown at half-mast in honour of the late Akinremi.
The governor’s directive was contained in a statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mr Dotun Oyelade.
Condoling Akinremi’s family, the governor described the sudden demise of one of the state’s representatives in the House of Representatives as shocking and a great loss to the State.
Akinremi died in the early hours of today, Wednesday, July 10, 2024..
One of his friends, Akin Adewale broke the news of his death on his X handle.
He wrote, “We lost Hon. Musiliu Olaide Akinremi representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the NASS. This is really sad”.
