Governor Abiodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State has reiterated his commitment to working with the security agencies and the traditional institution to keep the residents of the state safe and to prevent marauders from breaching the hard-earned peace in the state.
Oyebanji stated this yesterday when he paid a visit to the release of the abducted pupils and teachers of the Apostolic Faith Nursery and Primary School, Emure Ekiti.
The Governor also said, “My sincere thanks go to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the security agencies, and the good people of Ekiti State for their support, which facilitated the timely release of the abducted pupils and teachers of the Apostolic Faith Nursery and Primary School in Emure Ekiti.”
He stated that the victims are receiving appropriate medical treatment at the State Teaching Hospital in Ado Ekiti.
The Governor notified that he is working with the heads of security agencies on the ongoing investigation into the death of our two Royal Fathers and the bus driver of the abducted pupils to apprehend those responsible for the tragic assault and make them face the maximum weight of the law. There will be no hiding place for them.
