Suspected gunmen, alleged to be members of the Oyo State Park Management System, attacked Jogor Centre, Ibadan, venue of the ongoing State Congress of a faction of the Oyo chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Some of the leaders reportedly at the venue include Alhaji Adebisi Olopoeyan, Chief Nureni Akanbi, former House of Representatives Leader, Alhaja Mulikat Adeola, member House of Representatives Ajibola Muraina, former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Azeem Gbolarumi, former Governor Makinde’s aide, Yemi Aderibigbe and Femi Babalola.
No fewer than five people were injured while about 50 vehicles parked outside the venue were damaged.
