Gunmen have kidnapped Chief Benedict Akika popularly known as Akika at his residence in Ibadan, Idi Ape along Olorunda Abba, Lagelu Local Government, Ibadan.
Akika, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and ally of Governor Seyi Makinde is the founder of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation (OBF).
According to unconfirmed report, one person was said to be killed by the assailant.
