Men of the Rapid Response Squad under the Lagos State Police Command have come to the aid of a homeless mother of four who gave birth to a baby girl on the road in Ikate-Elegushi area of Lagos State.
According to the Police, they received a distress call regarding the woman who fell into labour and had the baby by the roadside.
“The new baby and mother along with her four siblings were evacuated with the assistance of two sympathisers to Eti – Osa Primary Health Care, Ikate – Elegushi Town.
“The mother and the new baby along with 4 other children are in good condition”, the Police said.
