Out of her budgetary constituency allowance, Hon. Zainab Gimba, representing Bama/Ngala/Kalabalge Federal Constituency in Borno has empowered her constituents with items worth several millions.
According to information gathered, Gimba empowered her people with 118 Vehicles, 200 tricycles, 800 sewing machines, 400 grinding machines, and 492 water pumps.
The federal lawmaker noted that she would continue to put smiles on the faces of the people of her constituent, noting that she is in the National Assembly to serve them.
Gimba, an astute Northern politician, and scholar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Administration and Policy analysis from University of Abuja.
Prior to venturing into the murky waters of Nigerian politics, she was a senior lecturer at the University of Maiduguri.
She was also a former Commissioner of two ministries in Borno State: Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Youth Empowerment and for Water Resources as well as Chairman, Universal Basic Education Board.
