Some pictures are trending on social media showing a radio presenter identified as Adetunde Akande, proposing to his fiancée on the Eleyele River located in the Eleyele Area of Ibadan.
According to the pictures on X, while the man was proposing to his unsuspecting fiancée, a group of people raised their placards with the inscriptions asking if the lady would marry the man.
Two of the placards read, “Marry me?”, and “N je o setan lati di aya Adetunde ka dijo je Adetunde” (are you ready to be Adetunde’s wife).
From the pictures, the fiancée accepted the proposal as she was full of laughter after receiving an engagement ring.
