Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has directed schools shut due to violence that rocked Ibadan over the #EndSARS protest to reopen on Monday October 26, 2020.
It will be recalled that on Tuesday October 20, 2020, the governor directed schools in the ancient city to be closed from Wednesday October 21, 2020 to Friday October 23, 2020, pending review of the situation.
The Governor said that considering the fact that situation has been brought under control, there is no reason why students should be kept at home.
He urged the protesters and hoodlums, who have been destroying properties to desist saying that the state belong to all.
