The Management of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) Plc on Tuesday November 3, 2020, has announced the implementation of the increment in electricity tariff, which was suspended in September 2020, due to Federal Government intervention.
According to a notice on its twitter page, titled, “Public Announcement! Notice of Commencement of Revised Service Reflective Tariff”, the new tariff is effective from November 1, 2020.
IBEDC further stated that the new tariff is divided into 5 bands, which is based on the hours of supply to customers and this is measured by the daily average availability of supply over a month.
