The former General Manager of the Katsina State Television (KTTV), Ahmed Abdulkadir and his daughter have been abducted by gunmen.
He was kidnapped along with his 15-year-old daughter, Laila, from his residence in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State when the gunmen, suspected to be bandits, stormed his house on Monday night.
Abdulkadir, who lives in Katsina, was said to be in Bakori to see his second wife as he mostly spends the weekend with the family in Bakori.
He was the General Manager of the Katsina State Television Authority before he joined the service of NBC, where he served as Head of Public Affairs and later zonal director in both Maiduguri and Sokoto zones.
