A Popular Nigerian music artiste, Iledare Olajuwonlo-James, popularly known as Jaywon, was on Monday arrested for violating the Covid-19 curfew put in place by the Lagos State government.
The singer, who is popular for his song, “This Year”, was driving out around 11pm when he was intercepted around Dolphin Estate and whisked to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba.
He was arraigned before a mobile court on Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty and was fined N10,000.
Jaywon was also sentenced to do community service for 30 minutes.
