The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 50-year-old businessman, Alhaji Nuru Isah, for allegedly beating his 24-year-old second wife, Wasila Abdullahi, to death following a dispute over food items meant for breaking the Ramadan fast.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), CSP Ahmed Wakili, disclosed that the tragic incident occurred on March 1, 2025, at about 11:30 PM in the Fadamam Mada area near Government Girls College, Bauchi.
