The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, confirmed 4,985 active cases of Covid-19 in Nigeria.
According to the NCDC report as of Monday, July 11, 2022, the total confirmed covid-19 cases in Nigeria since the outbreak of the virus is 258,517, out of which 250,388 cases have been treated and discharged and 3,144 deaths recorded.
NCDC revealed that so far, samples tested in Nigeria stand at 5,313,596.
As of today, the states with the lowest case are Oyo, Abia, Bauchi and Bayelsa having one case each, followed by Jigawa and Edo with two cases each and Plateau having three cases. Kogi, Zamfara, Yobe, Sokoto and Kastina have zero case.
However, in the record released by the Agency, as of yesterday, 357 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 were recorded in Nigeria in Lagos-292, Yobe-25, Rivers-20, FCT-11, Kano-7 and Delta-2.
Four states with zero cases report are Abia, Kaduna, Plateau and Sokoto reported for yesterday.
The data also show that so far 258,874 cases have been confirmed in the country and 250,456 discharged and 3,144 deaths leaving the actual active cases at 5,274.
