The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 136 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, which brings the total of confirmed cases to 58,460 as of September 28, 2020.
The cases were recorded in Lagos-71, Rivers-23, Plateau-12, Adamawa-6, Oyo-6, Kaduna-5, Abia-3, FCT-3, Katsina-2, Kwara-2, Bauchi-1, Borno-1 and Edo-1.
According to the NCDC, out of the 58,460 confirmed cases, 49,895 patients have been discharged, while 1,111 deaths have been recorded.
