The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 239 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, which brings the number of confirmed cases to 54,247.
The highest number of new cases were recorded in Plateau-116, followed by FCT-33 and Lagos-19. Others are Ekiti-12, Kaduna-11, Ogun-11, Ebonyi-8, Benue-7, Abia-5, Delta-5, Ondo-4, Edo-3, Imo-2, Osun-2 and Bauchi-1.
According to the NCDC, out of the 54,247 confirmed cases in Nigeria, 42,010 patients have been discharged, while 1,023 deaths have been recorded.
