The Management of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has directed all its staff to proceed on self-isolation while the headquarters is shut down for two weeks ahead of “fumigation and decontamination of the entire offices and premises in the headquarters in this period”.
In a Memo dated May 28 2020, signed by Silas Anyanwu and titled “ShutDown”, the Staff were notified that the Commission will be shut down for two weeks from today May 28.
It said, “Consequently, all activities in the Commission including ongoing matters are hereby shut down for the time being”.
The staff were by the memo directed to “go into self-isolation for two weeks as they await further directive from Management”.
