Nigeria has recorded 118 new cases of Covid-19, bringing the total of confirmed cases to 59,583 as of October 6, 2020.
The cases were recorded in Lagos-41, Rivers-19, Osun-17, Nasarawa-13, Kaduna-5, Anambra-5, Edo-3, Ogun-3, Kwara-3, Ondo-3, Katsina-2, Niger-2, Plateau-1 and Akwa Ibom-1.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), out of the 59,583 confirmed cases in the country, 51,308 patients have been discharged, while 1,113 deaths have been recorded.
