The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 160 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total of confirmed cases to 56,177 as of September 12, 2020.
The cases were reported in FCT-39, Plateau-39, Lagos-30, Kaduna-23, Katsina-7, Rivers-6, Oyo-6, Yobe-3, Benue-3, Bayelsa-1, Abia-1, Edo-1 and Ekiti-1.
According to the NCDC, out of the 56,177 confirmed cases, 44,088 patients have been discharged, while 1,078 deaths have been recorded.
