The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 179 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, which brings the total of confirmed cases to 60,834 as of October 14, 2020.
The cases were recorded in Lagos-116, Anambra-20, FCT-9, Oyo-9, Rivers-9, Delta-3, Nasarawa-3, Edo-2, Kaduna-2, Ogun-2, Plateau-2, Ekiti-1 and Osun-1.
According to the NCDC, out of the 60,834 confirmed cases, 52,143 patients have been discharged, while 1,116 deaths have been recorded.
