The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Wednesday 5, 2021, declared 52 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 165,273.
The cases were recorded in seven states, which are Taraba-18, FCT-9, Rivers-9, Lagos-7, Akwa Ibom-6, Kano-2 and Kaduna-1.
According to NCDC, out of 165,273 confirmed cases, 155,403 cases have been discharged, while 2,065 deaths have been recorded.
In the country, the four leading states with death causalities from Covid-19 are Lagos, 439, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 166, Oyo and Rivers States, 124 and 101 respectively.
