The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 617 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 72,757 as of December 12 2020.
The highest number of new cases were recorded in Lagos-225, FCT-181 and Kaduna-125.
Others are Adamawa-25, Nasarawa-20, Kano-12, Rivers-8, Edo-4, Ekiti-4, Bayelsa-3, Ogun-3, Plateau-3, Akwa Ibom-2, Delta-1 and Sokoto-1.
According to the NCDC, out of the 72,757 confirmed cases in the country, 65,850 patients have been discharged, and 1,194 deaths have been recorded.
