The Fulani genocidal attacks in Nigeria against other ethnic nationals is assuming unimaginable state, as Fulani terrorist group are now killing Nigerians in thousands, without any resistance by the Federal Government.
As at the time of filing this report, the social media has been awash by the latest information from the Middle Belt, claiming that Fulani men have killed over 150 residents and indigenes of Benue State in the last seven days.
It was gathered that about 36 persons were killed yesterday in Benue state.
Various reports have reported that there is a systematic genocide going on in the middle belt of Nigeria and it is largely under reported, calling on the international community to wade into the insecurity situation.
Nigeria, the most populous African nation is ruled by Major General Muhammadu Buhari, a Fulani man, whose major political appointees handling security and other sensitive position in the country. Fulani people are Muslim by religion.
Commenting on the ongoing genocide in the country, a Nigerian popular actress, Kate Henshaw said, “Much as I am trying to focus on other things. The images of bodies lain on the floor in huge numbers has dampened my spirit somewhat. Why does life mean nothing in Nigeria? To our rulers?? Too much blood shed….too much, God”.
On Twitter, Kola posted, “Out of the 23 local government areas in Benue state, the Killer herdsmen have invaded and occupied 14 and may invade the remaining 9 if urgent measures are taken to curb this Genocide”.
Each day in the regions in the South, particularly, South West, South East and South South, unknown Fulani men are being deposited in large trunks and as soon as they are deposited, they vanish into the thick forests.
FS Yusuf in his post on Twitter said, ” So after eliminating the TIV Tribe, so who’s next? Who is next? Because no one would tell me there is no agenda for coordinated & continuous ethnic cleansing in this country. It’s not just #BenueUnderAttack but #ChristiansUnderAttack I can’t be mincing words with y’all. At all”.
Another Twitter user said: “Once Benue is penetrated I’m sorry for the south, Fulani herdsmen aren’t here for just the lands they’ve got a bigger ambition. It’s high time we unit together and end this genocide”.
