A student of the National Open University of Nigeria (Noun), Casandra Michael has cried out to the Federal Government for justice for being prevented from writing her examination today over alleged indecent dressing.
In a video she uploaded on X, which is currently trending, the lady was seen exchanging words with the invigilator preventing her from her exam and a security man also inhibiting her from accessing the exam hall.
While the lady was demanding an explanation for not being allowed to write her exam, the invigilator told her that she was not properly dressed.
The lady was putting on a black trousers, a long sleeve jeans top and no part of her body is exposed.
Casandra explained, “My name is Casandra Michael. I am a student of Open University, Abuja. Centre, Garki, This morning, I came to school. I have an exam around 2 pm. I came to school and one of the invigilators said I would not write the exam because of my dress. He said that my dress was improper. I am still on school premises. I am going to show you what I am putting on. if it is improper, please tell me in the comment section and if not, help me share this video and it has to get to whoever owns the school. Some students can’t come out to say what they are doing to us in this school. I am coming out to talk because I know my rights. I don’t know what else they expect me to wear.”
