The remains of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mahood Olalekan Balogun, was buried around 4:30 pm today according to Islamic injunction at the Ali-Iwo compound, his ancestral home, in Ibadan North East local government area.
The funeral was attended by the Oyo State Governor, Barrister Abdul-Raheem Adebayo Lawal, who represented his principal, Governor Seyi Makinde.
Also, members of the Olubadan-in-Council were led by the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja.
Before his interment, he was lied in state at Mapo Hall, located in the Oja’Aba Area of the ancient city.
