In continuation of his efforts toward the containment of coronavirus in Nigeria, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, has donated motorised modular fumigators to Ekiti and Ogun States.
The monarch donated four motorised modular fumigation vans and drones to Ekiti State and two locally-made motorised modular fumigators to Ogun State.
The materials were received by the governors of the two states: Dr Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.
Presenting the materials to the Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, the foremost Yoruba Monarch said that the donation was to compliment government efforts at making covid-19 a thing of the past in Nigeria.
The Monarch explained that the liquid in the van was not poisonous or toxic, but had capacity to disinfect coronavirus and any other virus in the Society.
According to him, the vans and drone could also be used for Agricultural purposes.
Responding, Governor Fayemi urged notable Nigerians to emulate the monarch, adding that the materials would be deployed for the purpose they were donated for.
