Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has defeated Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.
Obi who won in nine local government areas has 582, 454 votes out of 11,271,451 valid votes and Tinubu who won in eleven has 572,606 votes. Atiku Abubakar came third with 75,750 votes.
Though, the state has 1,347,152, 64,278 votes were rejected.
The local government where Obi won are Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Amuwo-Odofin, Eti-Osa, Ikeja, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Somolu, Ojo and Alimosho.
Tinubu won in Agege, Apapa, Badagry, Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland, and Surulere.
