Veteran Yoruba actor, Alhaji Gbolagade Akinpelu popularly called Ogunmajek is reported to have an undisclosed terminal disease which requires urgent attention to save his life.
According to information gathered, Ogunmajek has been hospitalised at the University College Hospital (UCH) for a while but recently decided to go home to avoid contracting coronavirus at the hospital.
He said, “I have been sick for a while. I was receiving treatment at UCH but when I learnt about the outbreak of coronavirus, I decided to go home because for now, UCH is not safe”.
Ogunmajek, while appreciating members of TAMPAN for standing by him during this trying moment in his life pointed out that his colleagues have really helped him.
However, Funke Daramola, a Yoruba actress and Convener of Para Africa Foundation has called on well meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of Ogunmajek.
