Today, members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) booed Senator Kola Balogun, a serving senator and younger brother of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Mohood Olalekan Ishola Balogun chanting “thief” at the party Oyo South Senatorial Primary.
Balogun’s offence was decamping from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to APC, to contest for a senatorial ticket back to Senate in 2023.

As soon as he was sighted at the primary, members of APC mobilised themselves to where he was sitting and were chanting “thief” at him, asking him to go back to his PDP, his former party.
However, the senator was seen calm and did not appear disturbed.
