As part of efforts to resolve the crisis in the traditional rulership in Ekiti State, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Monday March 16, 2020 met with Governor Kayode Fayemi and the first class obas in the state.
Governor Fayemi, who received the Arole Oodua Olofin in his office, said that the state government was delighted by the swift move by the eminent royal fathers in the region to ensure that sanity is maintained in the traditional circle.
Fayemi said, “We welcome the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and Ekiti Obas in furtherance of his long-standing efforts to mediate the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers’ conflict”.
Oba Ogunwusi, however had a closed door meeting with the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III and the first class obas in the state in the Ewi’s palace.
