A High Court sitting in Ogbomoso in Oyo State, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, upturned the appointment of the newly installed Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, and ordered a fresh process that will lead to the selection of a new king for the ancient town.
It would be recalled that the Ogbomosho kingmakers shunned the court order to install Olaoye, a former pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) as Soun in September, following approval given by Governor Seyi Makinde.
