The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported two deaths resulting from Coronavirus in Oyo State, bringing the number of deaths in the state to 14.
According to the statistics obtained from the Centre, the state has 1, 466 confirmed cases, 643 on admission and 809 treated and discharged.
Confirming NCDC report, the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Mkainde succinctly stated, “Sadly, we had two COVID-19 related deaths. So, the total number of deaths in Oyo State is fourteen”.
He, however, pointed out that, “102 confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second negative test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 809”.
