The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi has revealed that additional three members of the robbery gang that recently robbed the First bank branch at Okeho have been arrested.
Fadeyi stated that the arrest was possible due to the immense support of the vigilante, local hunters and members of Okeho.
According to him, the total number of the robbers arrested in connection to the dastard, which claimed the life of one policeman is five, saying that they are currently under investigation.
It would berecalled that daredevil armed bandits on Wednesday July 29, 2020 stormedFirst bank, Okeho in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State with an intent to rob.
The robbers were confronted during the operation by the local vigilante group and hunters, who over-powered them.
Four of the robbers were killed and set ablaze, while two were later arrested by the Oyo Police Command.
