Men Oyo State Police Command have rescued the two wives of Chief Tajudeen Inaolaji, and a young man abducted from the palace of Baale Tajudeen Inaolaji on Monday, February 24 2025, by ten armed men, and arrested one of the abductors.
According to a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the palace was located at Agede Village, Moniya, Ibadan on February 25 2025.
The names of the rescued wives are Olori Hakimat Sadia, 50, and Olori Rakyat, 45 yrs. Also Monsuru Ganiyu, 20, was the third rescued kidnapped victim.
In another development, in Taraba State, policemen stormed a criminal hideout in the Wamunchi dry season rice farms on February 26, 2025 and recovered some arms and ammunition.
Adejobi stated, “The operation resulted in the recovery of one AK-47 rifle, seven rounds of live ammunition, the arrest of twenty (20) male suspects, and the recovery of one motorcycle, three Dane guns, and a bow and arrow.”
