After a Stay at Home Order by the federal and state governments for over two weeks due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Mainde has said that the state would open the state secretariat for workers to resume on April 20.
Makinde stated this on Wednesday April 8, 2020 during a briefing after a meeting of the State’s COVID-19 Task Force, held at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
“We have made arrangements to decontaminate the State Secretariat. This will take place next week between Monday, April 13 and Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Thereafter, the Secretariat will be reopened on Monday, April 20, 2020”, the governor said.
The Governor, who revealed that so far the state has received close to N200 million in cash and various food items, appreciated donors to the State Endowment Fund for COVID-19.
