The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has lost his elder brother, a senior police officer, DCP Akinade Olusegun Adejobi, to the cold hands of death.
ACP Adejobi announced the passing of his brother on his Facebook page, saying he would forever miss him.
He wrote:
“I will forever miss you, my beloved brother and confidant, Baba Oba, DCP Akinade Olusegun Alao Adejobi. Eki ijamo, omo onigbo dudu, ajoji o gbodo wo. Omo olowu oduru, aji f’epe sere. You have come, you have seen, and you have conquered, Akinade. Love you always.”

Family members, friends, and well-wishers have since taken to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to the late officer.
Segun Awolola wrote:
“It is sad to believe that DCP Akinade Olusegun Adejobi is no more. Omo Olowu oduru. Though your demise is a great catastrophe to the Afelele Ruling House of Orile-Owu, we cannot question God. Dear brother, continue to rest in the Lord till we meet to part no more. Goodnight. It is well.”
Oba Gbenga Adeoye also wrote: “Rest on, dear friend and blue blood. DCP Akinade Olusegun Adejobi, we spent great moments together. You fought a good fight… I strongly believe it was time you chose to relocate to the great beyond.”
