The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dissolved the state caretaker committee for the Cross River State Chapter of the party.
Consequently, the NWC of the Party has constituted a new state caretaker committee for the state.
According to a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, the new state executive consist of 10 members and Barr. Efiok Cobham was appointed as chairman while Hon. Eku Atu and Hon. Rita Ayim were appointed as secretary and publicity secretary respectively.
Other members of the executive body are: Barr. Attah Ochinke, Dr Uke Enun, Prof. Walter Mboto, Hon. Mike Usibe, Hon. Christopher Ekpo, Victor Effiom Okon and Prince K. J. Agba.
The statement added that all other structure of the party at the local government and ward levels in the state remain intact.
