The Emir of Zazzau in Kaduna State, Shehu Idris, who died today, September 20, 2020 at the age of 84, has been buried today in Zaria.
He died at 44 Nigerian Army Reference hospital in Kaduna around 11am.
The monarch spent 45 years on the throne having ascended to the throne on 8 February 1975 at the age of 36 following the demise of Alhaji Muhammadu Aminu, the 17th Emir of Zazzau.
The burial of late Shehu Idris was witnessed by a mammoth crowd despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
