The Nigeria Police Force has given an update regarding the kidnapping of Folasade Odumosu, the wife of Retired Assistant-Inspector General, AIG Hakeem Odumosu, who was rescued last week from her kidnappers.
In a statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, two of the fleeing kidnappers were arrested in Lagos.

According to the statement, the Lagos State CP Special Squad arrested the two suspects identified as Agbojule Smart, 27 years and Keleke Michael, who are 27 and 30 years respectively.
“According to the police, the suspects were arrested on today, Friday, January 24, 2025, while on their way out of Lagos State.
“Upon interrogation, they confessed to their crime; belonging to a gang of 4, 2 of whom have been neutralised previously. Recovered from the suspects upon their arrest were the sum of Two Million, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N2,250,000), which was part of the requested ransom, two locally fabricated rifles, and 11 live cartridges”, the statement added.
