Men of the Lagos Police Command have arrested and detained a Nollywood actor identified as Temitayo Phillips, who was alleged to have stabbed a co-tenant to death at his Ikotun residence in Lagos State.
The incident happened last Saturday May 16, 2020.
According to Newsmaker, the suspect is currently detained at Ikotun Police State.
According to the information gathered, the actor living at Sebil Kazeem street, Cele-Egbe, Ikotun, got into arguments with his co-tenants over payment of the electricity bill, which snowballed into a fight with Oladotun Opeyemi.
However, before other tenants could separate the two men fighting, Temitayo had brought out a knife and stabbed Opeyemi to death.
The incident was immediately reported at Ikotun Police Station leading to his arrest and eventual detained.
