A popular Nigerian actress, Atinuke Toluwani popularly known as ‘Mama-No-Network”, has shared her marital ordeal leading to her second marriage and confirmed that she lost a child in her first marriage.
Speaking on the Talk to B show, Tinuke, an indigene of Ijebu Ode in Ogun State, could not hold back tears while narrating how her husband, Adeola Shoremi Lanko, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry maltreated her and eventually divorced her.
She said while in the marriage, Lanko denied her marital bliss and happiness, pointing out that she endured the problems because of the only child, Mistura, she has for Lanko.

According to her, she met Lanko in the theatre industry and she agreed to his marriage proposal after which they legally married.
“My in-laws did not give me trouble. I have a wonderful in-law. My husband is my problem. He made life miserable for me but I endured it all because of my child. One day, he came home to tell me that he wanted to marry another woman. I told him that we were legally married and he said it did not matter”, she added.

Mama-no-network explained how Lanko stopped her from acting saying, “He said I should stop acting. I listened to him and I stopped acting. Afterward, if he goes to the location, he would not return for two to three months. I would be wondering what he was doing. He ensured that film producers stopped inviting me to take part in movies. If he is participating in any movie, and the owner of the film wants me to act, he will tell them not to bring me in. He was so scared of my glory. At times, after he has done his part and left, they will call me to come and do a small part and I will go.”
She said that she waited for eight years before she considered remarrying, adding that in between, Lanko came back to beg her to accept him back and she agreed. “But when he came back, he came with another wife. I welcomed her because I knew we would not be living together. At the time, I was the one paying for the house I was staying and it was not going to be possible to bring a woman to the house I was paying for. I accepted him because of children. I wanted to have another child. Still, it did not work and I have to move on”, she explained.
Atinuke and Lanko
Atinuke further explained how she remarried noting that her manager, whom she also referred to as her Personal Assistant matched her with her second husband.
“My husband now is a petrol and diesel dealer. He was the first to see me. When he saw me, he went to my manager and my manager gave him my number. He called me and I told him that I was married. He replied that he knew that I was not living with my first husband. After the discussion, I called my manager and blasted him telling him that I did not need any husband. My manager made me know that I could not close my heart to men. He said that if I closed my eyes for the bad man to pass, I would not know when a good man would also pass. That was how I agreed to marry the man. He also married me rightly”, she stated.
She described her new husband as a very caring and very supportive husband compared to her first husband adding that he takes her to locations in his car and occasionally checks her up at the locations to find out how she is fairing.
She berated actors for being flirts saying, “Our men can’t do without girlfriends, especially stars. They don’t want their wives to know that they engage in extramarital affairs, therefore, they want to keep their wives out of locations and block them from acting”.
