The Presidency has debunked recent media reports alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari has cancelled a number of memoranda and appointments signed by his former Chief of Staff, late Abba Kyari.
A statement signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, said the reports are false and wants Nigerians to ignore the insinuations behind them.
It draws attention to the fact that none of the media organisations that carried the reports quoted named sources.
The statement gives a reminder that President Buhari was duly re-elected by Nigerians in February 2019, warning that he has not and will never cede to anyone else, the power and trust given to him by the Nigerian people.
