President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the security agents to shoot any person or persons seen carrying AK-47s in any forest in the country.
The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, who revealed this today failed to state whether this directive will be extended to the Fulani herdsmen, who carry and flaunt AK 47s in the country.
Though, it is illegal for any individual in Nigeria to carry unlicensed gun, this law preclude the Fulani tribe, who are always armed with AK 47s and other dangerous weapons.
The President has also directed a ban on all mining activities in Zamfara State, as well as the imposition of a No-Fly-Zone over the State.
