An Assistant General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of GodCCG), Professor Folagbade Aboaba, who died on Saturday, January 22, 2023, will be buried on Wednesday, February 8, 2023.
According to the information gathered, wake keep is slated for Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
However, the RCCG authority has formally announced the death of the professor of Agricultural Engineering.
In a statement released by the Church public relations department, the church said, “The leadership of RCCG announces the transition to glory of a distinguished elder and member of its Board of Trustees, Pastor (Prof) Folagbade Olajide Aboaba at the age of 90 years.
“He was born in Lagos on March 8, 1933, and went to be with the Lord in the early hours of Saturday, January 21, 2023, after a life of exemplary service in the Lord’s vineyard.
“We commiserate with the family he left behind and we pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.”
