Buckingham Palace, on Sunday February 2022, has confirmed that the United Kingdom 95 Queen Elizabeth II has been infected with the coronavirus.
According to the palace, the queen, today, tested positive for Covid-19 saying, “Her Majesty is experiencing mild coldlike symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week. She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines.”

In a tweet, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said, “I’m sure I speak for everyone in wishing Her Majesty The Queen a swift recovery from Covid and a rapid return to vibrant good health.”
Elizabeth will be 96 in April 21, this year.
