Adesope, who underscored the significance of the church in Nigeria, said that many members from Nigeria are working for Christ all over the world, particularly, in the developed nations.
Emphasising how God has blessed the work of the founder of the Apostolic Faith in Nigeria, Rev Timothy Oshokoya, Adesope stated that the name, T. Oshokoya transcend Nigeria, adding that Oshokoya is a household name in the Apostolic Faith.
“It has been said that the word, Brother T. is not just here in Nigeria. The offspring of Rev T. Oshokoya are everywhere. His offspring are in Europe, Asia, and North America, among others and many pastors of this church came from this root (Nigeria). So, we are grateful to God.
He said that Oshokoya created the phrase, “Africa for Christ”, and changed it to ‘The world for Christ”, saying that this symbolises that Apostolic Faith has conquered the world: “Jesus will conquer the world”, he added.
He said that the museum is all about the history in words, artefacts, pictures, and monuments adding, “The Apostolic Faith is matching on, and it is forward forever, backwards never.”
Adesope declared the museum as an entrance to goodness, an entrance to the blessings of God, particularly for this and the next generation.
“People will come here and be inspired. They will be inspired to win the whole world for Christ. There is a need to have a museum like this in Portland, Oregon. We can take inspiration from WECA again. WECA has given us so much inspiration. We cut this ribbon in the name of God the Father, in the name of God the Son, and in the name of God the Holy Spirit”, he added.
