Reverend Oluwafolakemi Adedayo Achudume, wife of Apostle Lawrence Achudume, founder of Victory Life Bible Church, popularly called VLBC in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has died on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Fola Achudume, 55, was the President of Royal Ladies International (RLI), an Interdenominational Ministry for ladies. She was the convener of All Women Summit, Nigeria, Royal Ladies Congress Nigeria, UK, and the U.S.A and the Eminent Personality Conference (EPC).
She was also the founder of Gem Ame Royal Institute, a mentoring school that seeks to train, coach, guide, and impact ladies from all walks of life for a purposeful and exciting life. She was the regular host of the TV and radio programmes called “The Royal Lady” and “Life & Issues.”
The death of Achudume was announced on Sunday during a service at the church headquarters located along Ajebo-Abeokuta Road, a development which threw the congregants into mourning
The church is a statement on its Facebook page issued by David Lawrence-Achudume said the demise of Achudume was with a heavy heart, and gratitude to God, adding that the family of Victory Life Bible Church(VLBC) and all her children all over the world appreciate God for her impactful life.
‘With heavy hearts and gratitude to God, we announce the transition of our esteemed Lead Pastor, Rev Fola Achudume unto glory. Her passing occurred on Saturday 3rd August, 2024. As a teacher, prophet, pastor, mentor, role model and mother, she touched countless lives, inspiring many to grow in their faith and walk closely with the Lord’, the statement reads
‘The family of Victory Life Bible Church and all her children allover the world appreciate God for her impactful life and will continue to remember her legacy of faith, prayer and steadfastness. May her soul rest in perfect peace’, the statement added.
Reverend Fola Achudume who was born in Ibadan,the Oyo State capital on September 6, 1968. She attended the prestigious Queens School , Apata, Ibadan, after which she proceeded to the University of Ibadan in 1986 and graduated in 1989 with a Bsc (Chemistry) Degree.
She is survived by her husband and children, Tobiloba, Feyisara, David and Fikunmi.
