Dozens of children are feared dead after a huge explosion at a primary school in a school in Kano around 9am today.
It was gathered that the blast occurred at the Winner’s Academy in the Sabon Gari area of Kano as hundreds of schoolchildren headed to class.
It was also gathered that several people in the area are also affected.
At the time of filling this report, the number of casualty can not be ascertain.

However, the Kano State Police Command has confirmed that the g blast which rocked the Sabon Gari area was caused by a gas cylinder explosion.
The blast was initially thought to have been a bomb.
It brought down the building where the gas cylinder shop was located and affected the Winners School.
At least four persons have been confirmed dead and many more are trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building.
